Commission recognizes LaFayette High’s state champion basketball team

The LaFayette High School boys basketball team was recognized by the Chambers County Commission during their meeting Monday afternoon. The team and head coach Obadiah Threadgill were on hand for the meeting during which District 2 Commissioner James Brown read a proclamation honoring the team’s achievements. The Bulldogs’ incredible season included the Area 8 title, the Central Regional title and the Class 2A State Championship. The title was the fourth basketball championship in school history.
